MSF Denver Office Seeks Intern

The Matthew Shepard Foundation’s Denver office is currently accepting applications for our internship program. We are seeking a passionate and hard-working high school or college student who is interested in our work within the LGBTQ community to replace hate with understanding, compassion and acceptance. The unpaid intern will receive course credit.

This intern will help our staff with the wide variety of programs and resources the Foundation offers. The successful applicant will work on a variety of diverse projects, including on our LGBTQ youth website Matthew’s Place, foundation newsletters, social media, and helping bolster our overall online presence.

Applicants should have a demonstrated knowledge and/or interest in social justice issues. The successful applicant must be open to learning, be a team player, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required.

The intern will assist staff in the day-to-day operations and will have the opportunity to spearhead special tasks. We are only able to accept interns who can work in our downtown Denver office, which is located in LoDo.

Please send a writing sample and resume to Please put “Intern Application” in the subject line.

With your help we can continue our work to share Matthew's dream of replacing the hate in the world with understanding, compassion, and acceptance.
